1) Stands tall in the pocket 2) Doesn’t get flustered 3) Sees the whole field better 4) More accurate long range passer 5) Exudes confidence
What did I forget?

Dabo must have seen these qualities from Vizzina in practice. No?

Exactly Bravesfan.
It’s pure fools gold but we’ll have a bunch of people… like we already have seen… pointing to his stats.
Stats are for losers. What does your eyes tell you?
I’m not in the CK/CV debate as to who’s better. I don’t really care one way or the other.
Neither are good enough and sadly… some are going to have see it going forward through next year before they’ll see it.
We are no better off with CV than we are with CK.

CV is slower and not as quick as CC...CV takes a bit longer to get into run gear and defenses benefit from that slow start. Based on my observation Saturday, thought we ran CV too much and at wrong times, but I'm in the stands and not on the sidelines.

Not sure it matters with Riley at OC. I hate to say it because I was a big fan of his...

it was against the worst pass defense in the ACC, but CV did well considering it was his first start. I still don't believe he's the QB we need to get us to ELITE.

We need a lot more than an elite quarterback to be elite. We are miles away from being the lead, and it's way more than just a quarterback.

Vizzina is OK. He doesn't buy any time to see open receivers. O line is partly to blame for that. Not sure he sees the whole field better. Multiple deep receivers were open and never seen. He checks down too fast (or waits too late) and frequently sees only the check down guy who is MOST covered and will NOT pick up the first down. This is also a coaching issue.
Other coaching issues... Receivers don't run to the first down marker for their routes. Receivers frequently are NOT even looking for the ball to be thrown their way. Any receiver who is NOT looking to catch the ball on EVERY play should NOT be on the field. Moore seems to be the only receiver who can block for runners and other receivers.

6. Stone feet like DJ 7. Does not have that DOG in him, similar to all qb play since sweet sweet Trevor.

He certainly cannot see to run the ball. Cade does have a way of turning into a running back that can escape tackles. Vizzina did far better than I thought, but if he is in the game they need to skip qb designed runs completely. Too slow and no ability to escape. Doesn't have that inate sense to feel it coming. On the other hand that trait makes him stay put and stick with the pass play to the bitter end which is something we all have wanted Cade to do. What we saw Saturday is an offensive line that cannot provide adequate protection against a highschool level defense.

I think it shows that Vizzina should have come into the Troy game when Cade started flailing around the pocket.
