There is no way a Matt luke line can still be this bad if not for Dabo swinney.
Y’all won’t admit it but there is a problem in Clemson and has been. There is a major disconnect among the coaches and players. The culture is gone…. Teams around us are doing everything they can to improve while we just continue to be who we are

It’s been said Dabo and Venables would argue a lot over what was right with how things were done. Well Brent’s gone and you see the state of the program

There's not a major disconnect. The players on the team now we're just not as talented as the ones who are on the team 10 years ago.

this is correct. Talent is just not elite, especially on offense

How many rushes did we have ? Lol not near enough to draw that conclusion … Riley is a terrible OC that’s in year 4 and shown absolutely no in game adjustments against teams with a pulse , and a lot of it is on Cade who seems to still bail and make the same mistakes he used to in big games or in big situations. Who cares about a big qb draw against Pitt it’s time to step the #### up against top completion and make a play.

Tyler Grisham, CJ Spiller, Kyle Richardson. Only one of them had any coaching experience prior to working at Clemson, a premier program. That was Richardson, and his experience was coaching high school football, which barely counts (and I say that as a former high school football coach). Same on the defensive side of the ball. I always liked Ben Boulware, but he wasn't qualified to be a positions coach yet at a top program. Same with Deandre McDaniel. It's honestly faster to name the coaches who HAVE the experience necessary.

Riley won the Broyles award, Matt Luke won national championships as an o line coach and tom Allen was one of the most coveted defensive coordinators in the country.

Matt Luke, during his partial year of recruiting for us for the 2024 signing class, got here in time to make the difference as far as successfully bringing in Elijah Thurman; ET is currently one of our top 5 OL players.

For his full-year-of-recruiting for the 2025 signing class, two true FR for this year (Brayden Jacobs & Easton Ware) are already in the two-deep on our OL depth chart.

The 2026 class first OL is loaded. We barely missed out on a 5* OL prospect despite already having 6 commitments (I think it’s six) for 2026 season. (Few recruits want to join a team’s signing class for a given position if the class is already over-filled at that position. That ML was so close to winning the Darius Gray sweepstakes speaks volumes for his OL recruiting prowess.)

Matt Luke is pure gold.

You have to be kidding? It is amazing to me that we get these kind of comments when we lose but same ones disappear when we win. Yes, there are adjustments, NO Dabo did not call offensive plays, defensive sets or blocking schemes. His coaches did so let’s give it a rest.

Robbie Caldwell was an ex Vandy HC and total loser O Line coach and who on earth knows why we stuck with him for years and knew beyond a doubt we had a problem but Luke retired from Coaching altogether because he ahd lost the stomach for it after winning at UGA. Somehow Dabo talked him into coming back and convinced him Clemson was a better fit and life balance. It looks like he really has lost the fire for it and should have stayed retired and coached some high school ball if he missed it.
