Lady Tigers bball lose to Louisville

65-54. It was a home game. Louisville is 22nd ranked. Led at half 30-20. We held an 11-8 lead in the first quarter. They went on a 14 - 0 run to end the first and start the 2nd. We never recovered. But we were within 6 with 4 minutes remaining. We played tough and battled to the end.

They got us with their height and sticky D. Forced us into turnovers and we couldn't buy a good look on the perimeter. But, keep in mind we're picked 12th in pre-season acc. Help can't get here fast enough.

Side note:
Little ms Amanda butter sitting on loserville bench as an assistant. Hope she got heckled and somebody thanked her for sucking so bad so we could get coach poppie.

Tough loss. Still early in season. Take while for teams to gel with new parts. Same thing with MBB.
Was there a good crowd in LJ?

Because Brad had some decent years where they were close to making NCAAT. Amanda is a good person but had a lot of poor records at Clemson.

I did. Based on that data, you could make an argument. I loved Amanda but the product she put on the floor was horrible and even though I wasn't in the locker room, there had to be issues. I think she'll be an excellent assistant.

I also believe that Neff made drad aware that coaching wasn't an issue and we had to modernize. Then Neff finally got Brad some money to hire good assistants.

Her best years were her first 2 with inherited players. She actually recruited better than Brad on paper.. so I might argue her last 2 years did less with more. But a 70 point embarrassing loss to the coots was bad. She couldn't even make wnit her last year.

No most of hers are gone the Berry kid was a Clemson commitment Coach has to recruit recruit we need size speed shooters players that can hit open shoots regardless of the name on the jersey.Cant go down court and get nothing but Poppie knows that he will fix it put another class with this top 5 class and get a difference maker or 2 in the portal and we will be tough.
