on the players. What he fails to realize though is that the team in the NFL whose offense most resembles the spread is the Patriots. The majority of Brady's throws are out of the shotgun, quick, and based on presnap alignments of the Defense. He's not getting off his first read all that often because he understands the weak spots of defenses based on the coverage. His 1st read is the right read the majority of time (same with Watson). That's the only way to successfully execute a quick passing game.
