Not quite the dumbest I’ve ever heard. My girls were laughing at the diner table over a name incident one of them witnessed the first week of school.
The girl’s name was spelled, “La-a” and apparently she had taken offense to the teacher’s mispronunciation of her name. She scolded, “It’s La dash a ! The dash isn’t silent !!!”

I just SMH at some of the names people give their kids. Craziest I ever saw was ########(pronounced Shh-thead) and Antifreeze(pronounced Anti-frey). Had a girl in my sons class names Kal-Purina(pronounced Kal-Purne-A)
