Say what you want, but that’s exactly how I’ve always believed football should be played—with absolute focus. That’s the mindset we need right now: nothing else matters but LSU. No other teams. No NFL draft talk. No awards. Just the opponent directly in front of us.
If LSU is preparing with that kind of tunnel vision, they’re going to be extremely tough to beat. I just hope we’re matching that level of focus.
As much as I’d love to see a dominant performance by our beloved Tigers, I’m adjusting my expectations. Given the stakes, a 10-point win in this game would count as a blowout in my book.
Let’s just hope we don’t fall into our usual pattern—starting slow, spending the first two quarters finding our rhythm, and then scrambling to catch up.

This may be the smartest thing I’ve ever seen BK come up with. Dabo has been saying the same thing for years…. The most important game is the next game. The only game that matters is the next game. It is a great approach. Kinda surprised Kelly has bought into it.

This is going to be a top five ranked game of this season. I see a Notre Dame in the rain or a Louisville short of the marker type game.

Last year was the first time I remember Dabo saying before the Georgia game that it wouldn’t make or break the season. He knew we couldn’t compete for 4 quarters and he tried to shorten the game to keep the score down. Riley wasn’t allowed to play with his new toys at WR except a few plays. Pork Chop couldn’t stop the run to save his life in the second half of most games, including the opener because we taught guys to catch instead of tackle. What a difference a year makes.
