What kind of punishment is it to vacate wins years after the season is over. No one will remember that these games were vacated.
Seems it would be better to punish the school by losing scholarships and recruiting contacts.

Well, waterboyII, LSU did impose scholarship penalties to the current team. "...LSU self-imposed the penalty back in 2022, but it was confidential until the ruling was finalized Thursday. LSU also self-imposed scholarship reductions, losing eight football scholarships and two men's basketball scholarships..."
Reference SolidOrange's original post above for more details and background to the story. So, you may not be satisfied with all the penalties. However, LSU penalties were incurred for both the years of the original incident, as well as to the current LSU program/team.

I think Bama claims all vacated Nattys. Standard procedure, if they hadn't been there Bama would have been.
