Low point for the season

I've been looking at this board a bit. It seems there a lot of fair weather fans on here. A bunch of people ready to give Dabo the boot. I imagine there are probably a lot of coots over here, saying the same thing. I imagine nothing would make a coot fan happier than to see us calling for Dabos head. If you are a sometimes Tiger fan, #### off and go cheer for Miami. That's your team. If youre a coot, well, your name describes you well. Apparently, a lot of y'all have forgotten where we were before Dabo. Y'all remember Tommy West? First losing season in how long? What he did for us? Ken Hatfield? Dive left, sweep right,3 yard screen, punt? Ohhhhhh, that's right, y'all MUST have enjoyed the Tommy Bowden era more than Dabo!!!!! Yeah!!! He did it for us!!!! We were famous for - what was the term???? Yeah, not going to mention that one, considering espn said it EVERY FRIGGIN SATURDAY. Dabo got us here. He's taken chances in the past. Our co ordinators haven't always been the best. Dabo has moved on from them when he had to. Maybe not as fast as any of us would have wanted, but he has changed. Anyone remember Kevin Steele and what he made us famous for? Anyone remember Billy Napier? I still remember all the howling when we hired BV. It was even louder when Dabo hired a friggin high school coach. I would imagine Dabos probably pretty pissed right now. Hes getting hammered about DJ. No one likes to have to swallow their pride. Dabo moved on from KB, hopefully he sees that DJ isn't the answer. Personally, I believe DJ should follow in the footsteps of Logan Thomas and become a TE. I think he has all the tools for that position, but what do I know...... All y'all clamoring about wanting Dabos head on a plate, not going to support the team, blah blah. Ok. Either y'all forgot where we were, aren't real fans or are coots hoping Dabo does go away. Dabo got us here. Dance with the one who brung ya....

I’m trying to dance with ‘em, but it seems our glory years have come and went .
Looks like he’d rather dance with ole DJ rather than Klub, the new belle of the ball.

Dabo knows how to win but you can't hire staff and gamble on every one of them. He made some bad bets on staff. I'm sure they're great people but they have failed on offense and it's time for action. Thirteen yards passing in the 2nd half.

Last 5 passes for a total of 3 yards. 2 completions one to Clemson and 1 to Carolina. Crunch time performance.

Nobody is calling for Dabo's job. We are frustrated with the same thing over and over for two years. Poor QB play, poor WR play. We are able to run, but struggle to protect DJ.
Common denominators are DJ and the play calling, none of which has changed. Dabo made bold moves having people he coached hired as coaches when some of them never coached. The production on offense warrants these questions. He keeps saying he knows what the problem is, but the result is the same, so it is not being fixed.
We are spoiled fans. He got us here and if "Best is the standard", we should stay here. The talent we have all over the roster is not producing, and that is coaching. We are asking hard questions that take shots at the heart of Dabo's program.... the family culture.
His refusal to use the portal is an excellent example. He does not want to bring someone in who has not been in the program from the beginning. I understand that.
His unconditional support for DJ is not backed by his stats, even though we all know its not all on his shoulders.
Dabo says at the end of every season, they break down every part of the program and look internally to see if things are being done to "Best is the Standard".... we shall see if he's willing to hold everyone on the staff and roster to that. I do believe he has a bit of blind faith in some of the members of the coaching staff and players on the roster.
We shall see. I will always be a huge Clemson fan and was a fan when we were 3-8. This roster is too talented to be performing the way they have been this season. On offense, defense and special teams.

Not arguing about DJ. He needs to be moved to another position, as Dabo has done in the past, or benched. I said a few games ago, Streeter isn't who we need. He has not adjusted, he has not adapted. What I am referring to are all the people crying about not watching and/or are saying Dabo is done and needs to move on. There are quite a few...

Dabo deserves credit when he wins
Nov 27, 2022, 6:07 PM

But criticism when he loses. That's how it works. He just lost to a team that lost bad to Florida (a terrible team) just two weeks ago. I think a little criticism is warranted. I never agreed with all these inhouse coaching hires. Someone has yet to explain to me why that was a better plan then hiring the best available. And while Dabo won two Natty's back in the old age of college football, I'm not sure his way could win today in age of NIL and transfer portals. I do not want him to leave, I love Dabo. But he has got to adapt.

You missed my point. Please refer to above response.
DJ needs to be moved to another spot or benched. Streeter has not proven he is ready for this stage Dabo does need to be able to take the good with the bad. What I said was no one likes to hear that they were wrong.
What I said was fair weather fans need to go somewhere else. I don't ever want to be like a bammer fan, though. When winning anything less than a Natty isn't good enough, we've lost

Yup, the “everyone wants Dabo fired” gaslighting has

Officially begun. The people who would gladly let Dabo romance their own wives are running out of reasons to consider Dabo infallible, so now they have to paint those who want Dabo to tighten up a little as ridiculously wanting him canned.

Pure nonsense. A few ill informed posters. Just deal in the facts. 115 million dollars over 10 years. It does not matter who he plays or how many he wins or loses. The contract is guaranteed. So the only way he leaves is if he is offered more money. Nick Saban is not going anywhere anytime soon. He has won seven Natties. I don't see Clemson winning another anytime soon based on the players in the pipeline and the staff. So be it. We can win our 9-10 every year in the mighty ACC and call it a day. Some will be happy with that and some will not and they can express their opinions here. But the number of fans that think Dabo should or could be forced out is microscopic. He's had a good run and he's locked in permanently. And when Little Nick finally steps down in another 3-4 years I think the Dabo window will have closed. Just my opinion, time will tell. I see him here the full 10 years on his current deal since nobody will pay him an equivalent or greater amount. Hoping he makes some changes. Go Tigers.

You are make about as much sense as hen sh!t on a pump handle. If you were to use your brain, you would have understood that I said Dabo made some mistakes at coordinators and he fixed them. Wow. Never said Dabo was infallible or he shouldn't fix his errors. If you had a friggin brain, you would have understand I was calling out those who said their never watching another game. Sheesh, what a moron

Amen. I loved watching Streeter play. He was tough and played his best. Ability to play doesn't always mean you can coach

No fair weather fans just tired of seeing a completely lost offensive performances. Our offense has killed this team for 2 solid years and we see absolutely no changes week to week!
