Guarantee you there are many that thought the same but weren’t dumb enough to publicly proclaim it. All universities are full of Marxist ideological faculty. It’s a sad reality that it got this bad. It’s just a warped worldview and a lot of weak minds take the bait and just follow along. Kirk was helping reset those young worldviews back to rationality. So the response is to cancel and defund Clemson because a liberal does something you don’t like?
Do you not see the hypocrisy? (Not from you, a more general statement)
Don’t get me wrong, what that student did is absolutely awful, and going out of their way to celebrate violence is horrendous.
At the same time, forcing one political agenda is dangerous. This goes for any political party. Cancel culture took it too far in the past, and although tempting to want to “give it back to em”, all that does is continue to stir the pot.
Just so it doesn’t get lost, that student/s should not be celebrating violence or mocking those impacted by his death. That does nothing positive.

The Banana hoax - Some kids didn't want bananas. The Clements Admin knew this, but allowed protests and withheld the truth trying to spark racial unrest on campus. The kids had to go to the media to call them out on it.
Violent Professor - During Trump's first term, a professor called for violence against his supporters. Clements admin supported him hiding behind the first ammendment.
Present Day - 3 professors found to be supporting murdering a conservative activist. Clements admin only suspended 1 and will likely use the first ammendment excuse to protect them again. He will reinstate them to keep indoctrinating the kids.
Jim Clements has turned Clemson into a cesspool of liberal hate. Call the BOTs, Defund Clemson, call advertisors and rich donors, call the media and shine a light on these cockroaches.
Jim Clements is the real problem in Clemson.

This defunding clemson bs from our own alumni has got to stop. The words of the professors are so largely overblown. And quite frankly, it is a reasonable question to ask why trump sees it necessary to fly a flag half mast for a political grifter and influencer. He didnt do it when a Minnesota Democrat legislator and her husband were assassinated in their own home. He was against the half mast for President Carter and wanted to end it on his inauguration day. Right wing is trying to stuff mr kirks tragedy down the throats of all Democrats, most of whom are saddened by the tragedy and resent being blamed for it during just another crazy day in trumps America. But there are far left wingers everywhere and anywhere, even in conservative clemson, and if you think a black person is gonna feel a deep sense of loss from the death of a guy who said things like, " blacks had it better when they were slaves because they committed less crimes" then someone is caught up in the idolatry of mr kirk and not seeing the big picture. And i must say that i had never heard of charlie kirk until i saw the news of his death. I saw the headlines several times before i even clicked because i just figured "Oh well, another shooting." I had to research him, so i dont have the emotional attachment to him nor the outrage against him that seems to engulf his followers and adversaries, respectively. A death of a person should seldom make for delight, but the death of some people can bring a sense of relief for others. That is just a fact of life.

Speaking of which, that's just trash and shows you the mentality of the demons on the left.
If their goal is to radicalize right wing youth the same way the left has been radicalized they are well on their way. Just imagine a million or so 18-30 yr olds armed right wingers with an axe to grind, and no Godly restraint.

How do you condemn a whole university for one student’s hateful comments? She is the only person responsible for her actions. Don’t blame the university. Don’t blame society. Don’t even blame her parents. Just like when a shooting happens - don’t blame the gun or the people who picked on the person when he was a kid. Blame the one who pulled the trigger. She pulled the trigger on these hateful comments. She needs to be personally responsible for them.

If this "one student" was marching around in a white hood and handing out KKK pamphlets I'm pretty sure that "one student" being ignored by the administration would indeed result in the entire university and administration being condemned.
Its not that they said or did, but the fact that apparently the leadership wants to hide behind the 1A when you know good and well they wouldn't tolerate my example for one second before they got rid of the student. Same goes for the pro assassination professors. If they were pro white supremacy theyd certainly not be "protected" by 1A and the university now would they. That can only mean the university doesnt really think having people like this on campus as students or professors is a big deal at all. Wonder why that might be.

If I was black I wouldn’t have liked Charlie Kirk either. Never heard of him until Wednesday because I’m not in the cult but I’ve listened to his comments since then. There is no defending some of the things he said about black people. Highly offensive. I’ve heard people defend him recently saying some things he said were taken out of context. There’s NO other way to take some of the things I heard. They were cutting and straight to the point. Do I think he deserved to be murdered? Absolutely not. It was truly sickening. I do think the reaction to his death has been obsessive to the point it’s been ridiculous.
The reaction by alumni and supporters about defunding Clemson is also excessive. I absolutely agree that these professors are just dumb for posting celebratory things about a young man being murdered in front of his family. However, they do have freedom of speech no matter how hateful it is. They will likely be dealt with accordingly. I will not let any of that come between me and my Alma mater. Clemson comes 1st in this situation.
