Looks like The Roar is putting the blame squarely on the players

So far on the radio today. They’ve mainly blamed only the players and are calling out names.
Which is accurate for sure. But have not heard much blame toward the coaches at all. Interested to see if that continues on the afternoon shows

I agree. Coaches should be called out. It's their job to bench them and put other guys in if the others are loafing. Including the unbreakable qb.

You may have heard the color announcer say that this has to be corrected by the players on the field and I tend to agree. Somehow they have become complacent, underestimated their opponents, and have not played with the motivation that is required for EVERY game. They are saying all of the right things, but I am not sure they believe what they are saying.

Did you expect any different? Nobody wants to jeopardize the perks or get replaced.Easier to blame players.

and expect to retain their job here in Clemson?
Clemson football is done winning anything meaningful unless Dabo has a major change of heart and approach.
(Winning the ACC itself is a joke these days - SMU, a mid major almost won it...and now we are a mid-program in the ACC)

Well we have basically the exact same team as last years, which was a solid if not great team. Hard to really blame the coaches for everything when the players aren't playing to their capabilities. Does seem to be a healthy dose of complacency on the roster. Coaches aren't blameless but its ultimately up to the players to be motivated to play hard and improve. We are dealing with professional football players now after all.

There was 2 shows breaking Quaks show.
Mickey was as brutal on the coaches as he could be without talking about their mothers.
So out of 2 shows , one blamed players, one blamed both.
What was your point?

There is plenty of blame to go around...

but one thing is for sure, if changes need to be structured, Dabo will not do anything in this regard until after the season.
I think it's fair to say some coaching changes are in order, and four names immediately come to mind (Conn, Spiller, Grisham, and Riley).

The coaches recruit the players…Dabo hires the coaches….follow the causes up the hill until you reach the top…it makes sense logically.
