Atlanta Braves final roster: send Jackson to IL add O’Day Strider and Contreras
The Atlanta Braves made a series of roster moves Sunday morning to replace an injured reliever, add starting depth, and potentially, a new utility man.


I believe it's because of the 2 extra roster positions MLB is allowing, but it's a great honor & awesome accomplishment. I see him as a solid starter in Gwinnett at the end of the month; but working out of the pen or a 6 man rotation to start of the year is only going to expand his experience & value.

He might stick in the pen for a bit to see who can be another righty they can throw out there besides McCuth and Jansen. The other 2 righties are O’Days submarine delivery, and Thornburg who’s already went thru the 2 worst surgeries a pitcher can have.
