The issue is it props up the $EC for the year. When they start losing teams will stay higher in FPI since they started so high. The committee can point to this for strength of schedule over “lesser” teams for getting overrated $EC teams into the playoffs. It is a rigged system.

Just made a good gator buddy friend extremely ticked off last week. He said Carolina would be 2nd or 3 rd in our weak conference. I said dude your conference is top heavy as welll. Only the media bias keeps over-hyping the rest of yall. I was call ignorant, stupid, etc before telling I had enough with the name calling.
