Mamdani says that he’ll force the landlords (private owners … is that close enough to private corporations?) to lower their rents.
BTW, NYC has long had ‘rent control’ to keep private businesses from raising rent prices too quickly / too much. Mamdani says he’ll make those rent prices go down even more.
Now what is the equivalent (to Mamdani’s pending command and control regime) that you see from the federal government doing?
