Notre Dame played 5 ACC teams and two service teams this year AND lost to Northern Illinois. I would like it if a non-SEC, Non-Big10 team won the CFP . That would be in the best interests of Clemson.
The National Perspective of the SEC is bogus.
Old Miss has not won a title of any sort since the early all white years in the 60s. Miss State is worse than Old Miss. Arkansas and SC have been in the SEC for decades and neither has a meaningful title or any improvement to show for it. Vandy Sucks. Tennessee is 2-16 versus Bama over the last 18 years. Ky is a basketball school that never wins anything in football. TAMU last won a conference and or a Natty since my Dad was a kid. Clemson has a better record,more conference titles and more Nattys in the last 50 years than Texas. Dabo has a career winning record over the SEC and the Big 10. Why is the negative crap not a part of the SEC national narrative?
The narratives are frequently FOS. The National Clemson Narrative has a bad smell recently because we have not played with lots of transfers. Meanwhile in the last 4 years,frequently labeled by some Clemson fans as bad, only a half dozen programs in the nation have more wins more post season wins and Conference titles that Clemson.
Don't always buy false narratives.
