First of all, who cares who's a "blue blood." See how far that gets Nebraska. UGA is a more successful team over the last 20 years than all the schools you named except Alabama and Ohio State. That's far more valuable than he was good in the 1930s.
That said, why wouldn't Georgia be a blue blood? They're top 10 in numbers of wins, ahead of USC. They have 4 undisputed national championships and 4 others that are disputed. That's the same as Texas and more than Penn State. They played the oldest football game in the South. They've been good for so long that Alabama's fight song, Yea Alabama, dating back to 1926, references them by name. And again, they're one of the 5 most successful teams since 2000.
Under any definition, they're either a blue-blood, or the first one out.

Alabama certainly, but Ohio State??? By what criteria? Over the last 20 seasons, counting this year, Georgia and Ohio St have won the same number of games. But UGA has been to a Bowl Game in more of those seasons (20 vs 19), has won more of those Bowl Games (14 vs 9), has won more games vs top 10 opponents (32 vs 28), has won more National Championships (2 vs 1), and of course leads the head-to-head (1-0).
I agree the term "blue blood" isn't that important - it means different things to different people. But I am a bit curious in what way do you consider Ohio St to have been more successful?

Penn St is ahead of both Southern Cal and Georgia.
UGA is 9th all time in wins, USC is 10th.
Clemson is 13th, by the way. We passed Auburn this year. Next on the list is LSU.

Paterno are true pioneers. Their unwavoring dedication to the commission & concealment homosexual serial rapes for nearly three decades is the true testament of these men and the tradition set.
