Is he in the mix for the starting Center job?

Wasn’t he the #1 center recruit coming out of HS? Curious why he hasn’t assumed the role yet or what the story is with his development.

It seemed like he was a recruiting get where we could pencil him for at least two years of high quality production, but I guess there still is time.

If I remember correctly his HS season was scrapped due to Covid and he came in late. Once he got there he needed some work in the weight room because he basically hadn't played football in almost 2 years. I think we'll see him in the mix coming our of fall camp. If not, then we may have "missed" on him for now.

coming fall. C is the most challenging position on the OL and he missed as mentioned a complete year of football his last year of HS.

He is working his way into the rotation. Played a lot in spring game and I think he snapped pretty well not sure how well he blocked or called line plays.

Why was Dabo trying to get a center out of portal? Now you know. Our Online has been a mess for awhile, Hope Austin can get Caldwells mess out.

I think Caldwell's "cross training" messed him up a lot

Maybe more than some of the older players? He's had plenty of time to get in shape and I don't consider that a viable excuse to not be producing yet...if so, that's on him alone.
