They did what they needed to do against the cards, got stops, turnovers, etc…..

I’m proud of their play last week, it was much improved…. Lots more to do for sure, but when was the last time we saw them get the stops and big plays when we needed…. And no major busts!

Great job D, lets keep getting better!!!!!!!!!!

Allen definitely made some adjustments to stop the run in quarter 4 . They ran over us, through us and around us in quarter 3.
Not many bust this game.

defense gave up 46 points to dook in DV. Best they can hope for from me is redemption. And to do so they would have to play outstanding in our last three games.

BTW, we’ll see about CDS’s comment about “no quit in this team” at the kickoff of our bowl game.

You want to make a bet on if TJ Parker plays in our bowl game?

Jeff Foxworthy told a story one time about growing up in the town in Georgia that had the first Chik-fil-A and he knew and talked to the founder, Truett Cathy.

Jeff said Truett asked him one time, "Do you know how you can tell if someone needs encouragement? If they're breathing."

The defense has struggled a lot this season and probably cost us some games, but had some good stops Friday night. It doesn't hurt and actually helps to give some credit and encouragement, assuming players and recruits read our drivel (I hope not, but they know how message boards are).
