Lets get this out of the way about bowl games

1. Unless they are playoff semis they are meaningless
2. Players could not care less
3. The teams that are fielded are at best unfocused and at worst bear no semblance to the Sept and Nov. versions of the same team
4. It has no bearing on next season (unless of course it gets a coordinator fired ala Kevin Steele)
5. They should be turned over to the non P5 and FCS teams to keep them relevant and enhance their exposure.
With all that being said, Yes the Acc sucked this year

That's another reason to move them to August.

Bama vs. Penn St would mean something in August.

That’s a great idea. It could be similar to what they do in college basketball with the tournaments at the start of each season. Fans get a marquee matchup, and the bowl games won’t lose their luster. Win-win.

Yeah a trip to Florida in August is way more appealing than in December.

I understand. Some people just need something to complain about. The games Thursday, Friday, and today have been phenomenal.

They have been exciting. Last night’s game between USC and aTm was very entertaining.

The PopTarts Bowl on right now is fun. Sure, the announcers are annoying, but watching these players give it all they have to at least keep it close is entertaining.

You sound bitter, but I, for one, have enjoyed the bowls so far. A lot. 🤷🏻‍♂️

For true fans of the teams involved, the bowl games are fun.

Great chance to watch players down the depth chart that may be major contributors to the team next season.

As far the business aspects of these bowls (TV ratings and in person attendance revenues), it’s hard to imagine that they are profitable.

Are the teams being billed to make up the shortfalls?
