2nd and 6 at midfield with 7 min left, up by 7 with the ball, been running all over them and choose to throw it twice…that’s not trying to WIN the game. That is trying not to lose the game. You don’t put it on a defense that has been average all day at best with busted coverages galore. Just not enough “want to” from our coaches. No way I give them the ball back unless they stop me. If you give it to them at midfield and they score, at least you have more time on the clock. Just a step behind this year in every aspect…same thing before the half, got a penalty on duke the play before the Randall TD and Dabo chooses not to take the 10 sec run off. Duke turns around and scores with 11 sec left….it has been a rough one to be a part of. Fighting just for a winning season and not sure we will execute enough to get it

Our guys played their ##### off today. It's not their fault this is the worst defensive scheme in college football. Answer me this with a straight face.

Do we lose that game with Wes Goodwin?
Nope

How about Kevin Steele?
Nope

How about Vic Koenning?
Nope

Changes need to be made swiftly.

Agree - that’s why I said not enough want to from our coaches…inspired effort but too many mistakes (2 total blown coverages/40-60 yd pass plays, KO return for TD) and not enough strategy and want to from the coaches. You NEVER choose to give the ball back to a good offense late in 2nd and especially late in 4th. Just not enough aggression there and several other times throughout the game.

He doesn’t have that killer mentality and doesn’t know how to manage a game. What if you run the ball twice and don’t get a first down? Subtract 60 seconds from the clock and is this game different? ACC Refs still calling it, but Dook is in a big world of hurt.
