LBJ is a generational player...

with as much talent, if not more, than anyone who has ever played the game of basketball.
The problem lies in his attitude and mental makeup. He's more concerned with being a marketeer, a politician, a woke activist, and a whiney little punk a$$ b!tch to be the GOAT.
Because of that, while LBJ will go down as one of the top players all time, he may win several more championships and break more records, but he will never be universally seen as the GOAT, and he will never be universally considered better than Michael Jordan.

When you say MJ is the GOAT. The greatest of all time. You are talking about him as a basketball player correct? That is where the discussion should begin and end when comparing Lebron and MJ. Basketball.
I don't know why people get so upset about what Lebron says, tweets, does OFF the basketball court. He is a professional basketball player. I could bore you with countless things he has done off the court that has benefited not only his community but others. But I also know based on your comment you couldn't careless about any of that stuff.
if the GOAT conversation is, as it should be, about basketball, then in my opinion there is absolutely a discussion to be had.
If you want to bring in off the court stuff. Not interested. Especially if we are just going to think MJ was a saint.

is a good guy, but maybe I missed something.
Lebron wants people to think he is selfless, on and off the court. I think he’s disingenuous because he never misses an opportunity to tell people about his great philanthropy efforts, subject by your saying you could bore us with all his giving back. He wants people to think he’s an intellectual, educated, and centered in the “common folk.” Most know this is false. Lebron uses politics to get what’s best for Lebron and doesn’t seem to have a great sense of loyalty. If Lebron invested in really giving back to the community vs the image he thinks he’s projecting of giving back, he’d be hero in my eye. He’s not. Much like MJ, who is the undisputed GOAT (buck stops at championship stats, sorry), Lebron isn’t a hero off the court. He’s hardly a leader on the court with his constant whining, lobbying with the referees and generally only playing at one end of the court.
So neither get any nods from me, one way or the other, off the court. At least MJ doesn’t try to parade under a falsehood about who he is, but I digress.

LeBron is a POS. The off the court stuff with his money is expected from most pro athletes.
Your mouth totally represents the heart and he comes off as an arrogant prick. Would have loved to have seen his teams vs the Bulls team in the 90’s.

Lebron needs to shut up and dribble. I was a Laker fan over 30 years. Now that he's there I hope they lose every game, not that I pay much attention to the NBA anymore like most people. Love the ratings are terrible.

Problem is the same attitude that he displays off the court often shows up on the court. It’s all about me with Lebron. Both on and off the court. MJ’s championship performances at both the college and pro level make him the GOAT above Lebron.
Steph Curry is just as good or better than Lebron so he may not even be the best of his own generation.
