Several fouls far away from the basket putting the FSU on the line to keep it within a possession, instead of forcing time off the clock and making them earn it.
So bad

But isn't that the game plan of every successful coach; putting the other teams best free throw shooter on the charity stripe and then cross your fingers they miss the 1st of a 1 and 1?

This is the Worse take on this board. The officiating down the stretch (entire game for that matter) was horrible. Every one of those down the stretch fouls was ticky tack. Zero consistency in how the game is called in CBB. Between games and in-game.

Not making any excuse for losing. Many times I couldn’t understand why FSU was whistled for a foul. I love the sport, but between the refs and the last 2 minute stoppage (reviews and time outs) make it Un-enjoyable. Geez- we call TO with 4 seconds left , only to have 3 others called before we in bound the ball.

You mean you are saying my take is the worst? Oh Thank you, thank you, thank you. I often lay awake at night wondering if anybody ever liked what I had to say, and like Sally Field, you liked what I had to say ;which means you like me.
So where is my Oscar for the Worst Comment on this Board award.
Yes, but you are correct about the officiating. But isn't that how it always is when your team loses, especially a close one.
But I am going to make excuses. I guess it had nothing to do with not being able to play any decent defense which allowed for 3 non starters to combine for 51 points, or missing how many open 3 pointers, or miss managing the clock on that last second attempt to win the game regardless of how many time-outs were called.
But the biggest issue we have is in recruiting.
So when I say until we can find a way to recruit against the likes of Duke, UNC ,and Notre Dame we will continue to blow leads against Boston, College Georgia Tech and the other bottom feeders of the League.
So please tell me now that this is the worst take on the board.

Officiating was terrible but we can't get it done late in the game-and we were playing a tean with 4 of their top 6 players OUT-no excuse

Cant blame the officiating for what is usually called a foul.. and it happened numerous times.
Also BB or Honor didn’t seem very surprised or upset after each of the fouls.
