* Founded in 1963 as Florida Technological University
* Currently the 2nd largest University in the nation (60k total students)
* First year of football: 1979 (Div III)
* Moved to Div II in 1982
* Moved to Div I-AA in 1990
* Moved to Div I-A in 1996
I was surprised at just how young and large the school is, and how quickly their football team rose through each level. Before we know it, maybe they'll be in an AQ conference.

that have just enough good athletes to give you problems.....i'm hoping for USuC to be flat, the defense to be overconfident, and to see them slime off the field after the game with an "L" with the OBS wondering what just happened along with Chicken Nation.

another fact= UCF is ranked #94 on the US News Public Colleges Ranking for 2013.
USuCk is 39 spots ahead of them. Wow.
I knew UCF couldn't be a very good school if it had that many students. Dammmmmmm.

Playing UCF is risky. Playing them on the road is even riskier. They are 27th and 29th in this weeks polls. They rank higher than half of the SEC and 80% of the ACC. Most teams schedule a weak FBS school or a second FCS school like Clemson and FSU but we stepped up and scheduled a good team. I hope we go down there and play the way we're capable.
