Do they have proof he done it. Do they have an eye witness, or, are they just accusing someone that was seen in the area. It just don't sound like something someone with the talent, and the rankings he has would do. With all that he has going his way, with all the years of hard work and dedication, and to risk it all for stealing. That sounds kind of hard to believe to me, huh!!!

He is not a UGA player, he is a 2016 recruit that we were recruiting just as Clemson was and other schools were or are still recruiting him.

I think most of the major programs suspend a kid until he has his 'day in court.'
Now, If he was a Clemson commit I'd be embarassed.

Being guilty or innocent has nothing to do with it....

It generally boils down to who has the better attorney; the prosecution or the defense.
If the kid has never been in any serious trouble before, he'll probably be eligible for PTI and after completing the program, his record would be cleared. However, his actions paint a very telling picture about his level of character and integrity.

I want to see the film of him stealing. Then I'll believe that he just threw a small fortune away. I'm sure he knew that he had to much on the line to risk it stealing. For me he is innocent unless they have video of him stealing. Or they have one h&ll of a credible eye witness!!!

How about a Heisman QB stealing crab legs and risking all that his future? Kids do some pretty stupid stuff. I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt , just like anyone else, unless proven guilty. That being said, I would not be surprised if it happened.
I highly recruited kid on my son's high school football team last year (Scottsdale AZ) , broke into his own teams locker room during a makeup weight training session and stole 11 cell phones, wallets and keys. It was all on tape. How stupid is that?

to Florida to pick him up. Giving him a ride back to Athens would be an improper recruiting benefit.

Please read the article before posting. Not a UGA player. He was at a Dawg Night Camp.
"UGA Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 5-star recruiting prospect who was attending Georgia’s Dawg Night camp this past weekend."
"Salomon one of the top receivers in Florida for the Class of 2016 and carries a 5-star composite ranking — the highest in recruiting — from 247Sports.com. In addition to Georgia, he holds scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State and LSU, among others."
Also, he hasn't been sentenced to death. Just issued a warrant for his arrest. Great middle east comment...last I checked that is how we do it in America. Warrant/Arrest/Trial. Quit being so dramatic women!!!

that he isn't interested in attending. Or maybe he was framed by some jealous Dawg fan who saw they have no chance to get him.

You might want to check your links. This says that he has an offer. Maybe UGA offered him AFTER his arrest? Considering that he has a head start on his teammates he would fit in great there so Mark Richt wanted to give him a scholarship...
