Klubnik and other QB thoughts?

Everyone quick to point the blame at Klubnik especially with decision making. Some of it I agree is on the young QB shoulders as he has made some bad decisions at times. But he’s capable of making big time NFL type throws. Klubnik is super talented and anyone that denies that isn’t paying attention. Klubnik football IQ needs to improve that’s fair to say. But people are pointing more blame on Klubnik than he deserves. Instead of addressing the issues that is holding Klubnik back. 1. Klubnik is running for his life on most plays offensive line isn’t protecting him. He’s left scrambling trying to buy time to throw to a receiver. 2. Because the offensive line isn’t very good. They also aren’t run blocking well almost making the offense one dimensional. 3. I still think we lack a big time receiver that can get that separation. And make the big clutch catch. We leaned heavily on a TE because the receivers can’t consistently get it done. So with all that said I think we’ve got to fix the offensive line and WR issue before fixing the QB issue. Sure in the off season you have Klubnik and Vizzina competing for that starting position. Maybe Vizzina emerges as the starter or maybe Klubnik holds on to the starting position. But if we can’t fix the offensive line so that we have a balanced rushing and passing attack. And get a big time receiver although Wesco I think his name coming next season. I believe he’s going to start right away and do big things. But if you can’t fix these issues. Then both Klubnik and Vizzina will struggle next season. Got to fix the offensive line and get that big time WR. Go Tigers finish strong.

Yes, OL is terrible and WRs aren't anything special, but Klubnik still deserves the blame he's getting too. A QB can make an OL look better or worse than they are. Klubnik doesn't help our OL at all. He has horrible pocket awareness/movement, and he thinks he's faster than he is, constantly running backwards thinking he can get the edge and often losing 5+ more yards than he should. He's also tied with KJ Jefferson for most fumbles in the nation (but KJ has played 1 more game). He makes numerous other boneheaded decisions at critical moments (the last play of OT last night, the screen in OT vs FSU, sliding short of the marker on 4th down vs Duke, etc). His arm talent may be an A, but his head talent is an F. Sure, I'd choose to upgrade the OL before the QB, but that doesn't absolve Cade of any blame.

Klubnik needs to put on lbs and get stronger. He's weak.
