Kirby best coach but that kind of money is nauseating
Jul 21, 2022, 4:20 PM
|
|
Each year I get closer and closer to walking away from my season tickets to UGA.
Have never given a penny to UGA and never will. Never enjoyed my classes there, but I excelled like no other. I remain revered by my classmates and a few professors.
Being the best does not mean you gotta have more and more. Maybe that utopian concept is naive.
Each day I find myself gravitating to my blue collar Clemson friends more.
Danny Ford. That is who I miss.

In the early 80’s we lost an entire litter of pitbull pups to parvo. I was just a young lad, it was horrible too see them all lifeless.

To death by them.
Seriously Parvo is awful stuff. I've seen it once in my 42 years thankfully, and that was too many

I’ll never understand the obsession with pits in this country. Mexican and black lads walk around with pits thinking they’re so tough and macho. My German Shepherd has been attacked 4 times by them and fortunately for him he’s still undefeated and untied, whips them really easily and thoroughly And yet macho men still walk around like they’re tough

Quick story on that. I Was at the Sumter County Fair when I was 16, we had a pet show. My family's Australian Sheppard was the "Guest of Honor" as he was well known for his intelligence and friendly demeanor. During said pet show a little girl, 6-7 probably had a pit bull that just snapped and latched onto her thigh. She screamed and like a flash my 13Ish year old aussie was all over that pit, hitting him, dodging, Bob and weave. Clearly past his "prime" yet was able to get the dog off the girl and drive him across the ring. Point is, if an old cattle dog can hold his own they are hardly the killers some make them out to be. In fact my Rhodesian could handle a pit with ease if needed.

Who cares how much they make? Good for him. He is bringing in a fortune to the school. I never mind when others make a lot if money. If it was that easy to get that job and we were all qualified we would all do it, but there are not many great spots and only a handful of people can do it well. He deserves it.

The only thing more Legendary than Kirby’s new contract is the increasingly ever popular and never ending gauntlet of a schedule he has to endure. This is why he almost quit like his idol “the ole ball coach” before last season. The ole ball coach may not make as much money as ole Kirby, but Kirby doesn’t have a clue how to get a giant poster out in front of Sanford Stadium like SS did. Until he achieves that level of success, maybe he should learn to stop whining about how hard it is to play football in the Ess E She. Go Tigers!

For sure GA has a higher percentage of blue collar citizens than the state of South Carolina. Many even have teefs.
