Keys to the SC game... thoughts?

First off, in NO WAY am I looking past this weekend. For some reason, NC St makes me very nervous as their QB is very capable of having a nice game. But, I REALLY cannot fathom if we lost a 4th straight to SC and it appears that some folks are thinking that game is almost automatic. My thoughts on what make me nervous about SC:
1. We have GOT to keep Clowney out of the backfield, somehow, some way. Tennesee did a very good job of this and had a chance to beat SC until you know who got in and caused the game winning fumble
2. Second thing that scares me is Shaws ability to scramble, something that has killed us in the past. He is very effective when pulling the ball down and taking off
3. BIG PLAY give away. Say what you want about Spurrier and I hate him but the guy is going to be ready with a few plays to expose our defense and I can see Ace Sanders, or that goliath TE Justice Cunningham getting a big play here and there.
Thoughts?

We are gonna wear Clowney out with the fast pace offense.
Shuey has the instincts to contain Shaw enough,to keep him from making big splash plays.
Venables is looking forward to the game of chess with Mrs.Cocky.

I agree with you. I think BV will stop Shaws running but Im worried about secondary and check down receivers. They have no big play makers in key positions so I think they will use a lot of diversion...Look for Davis to be motivated to upstage his big brother too...gotta force Shaws arm and stop the run.

Indeed the sun will come up the next morning, but in a world assimilated by the Borg.

We'll go into exile, waiting for the right time to advance the cause of honor and good.

then he will make mistakes. If not we are in trouble.
I think it will be a great game with plenty of big plays both ways. Excited that the game is almost at hand but sad that this season is almost over. Time does fly when you're having fun and successful seasons.

I think we need to establish our running game early. Run it right at Clowney. I also expect to see a lot of bootlegs to move the pocket and make 7 run farther. I noticed he was gassed a lot in some of the games I've watched. Quick tempo is crucial. Get them tired early and we have the upper hand. And on defense, keep them in front of you.

1.Shut down Clowney 2.Shut down ACE 3. Run it down their throats. 4. Defense must step up and play best game of season or Shaw will run all over us
