KB could be the next Cam Newton

KB is a little shorter than Cam but still tall,he's dual threat, and he can be that QB that's tough to tackle like Cam.This could be a huge year for him.

your poast could have been said different but doesn't deserve all the TD's. Cam was a special talent as OP said - generational. Like him or not, Cam can ball out.
Wouldn't say KB isn't special but it's true, he's no Cam.
May as well accept it, he's going to be our starting QB. Support him all we can, and hope he can deliver a decent pass downfield under pressure.

Cam won the Heisman and he was MVP of the league 2 years ago. KB is not on that level, and he's not even close. He couldn't even beat out Schuessler for the backup role last year.
Cam willed a pretty mediocre roster to a national title at Auburn. And he led the Panthers, another mediocre roster, all the way to the Super Bowl. He's one of the 10 best QBs in the NFL. Kelly Bryant is not, and never will be, on that level.

lol the Panthers roster was far from Mediocre that year.
Only mediocre part of the roster was at WR.

Yeah, I probably don't give them enough credit. Their defense was pretty legit in 2015. But, his supporting cast on offense was awful. I've never been a fan of Jonathan Stewart. And I've always felt like their Oline has been very underwhelming. Great TE though.

Before his final year of college ball.
All the things Saif about KB right here, right now we're likely posted on the Florida boards both years cam was there.
KB is EXACTLY at the same status cam was. Just an unknown QB about to start the season at a high profile school.

Who cares? None of that matters. Kelly Bryant is not close to Cam Newton. You're talking about one of the best QBs in the NFL right now. Kelly Bryant does not have that kind of potential. He might not even last the entire season at Clemson's starting QB.

You do realize

that you are comparing a current NFL QB and former league MVP to a guy that hasn't even started a game in college, right?
Cam was a backup until his 1 season at Auburn
Not saying that KB has an NFL MVP future ahead of him, but I think it's not fair and even pathetic to discredit him the way you are without even giving him a chance.
KB is every bit as athletic as any other QB in college football. His ceiling depends on his ability to make the right reads and process information. Only time will tell....all of these current superstars start out as unproven guys in college
Maybe you're a coot?

im not comaring kb to any nfl player, nor did the op. We are comparing apples to apples.
Comparing Cam newton the summer before his started in college. KB the summer before he starts at qb.
Cam newton did not come close to being the backup at Florida and he wasn't named the starter at auburn until after spring practice.
Same with bryant.
I dare you to find any post before august of 2010 stating scam would win the heisman, a nc, and then mvp in the nfl...that he was a generation player.
The few articles I found about scam pre sept 2010 said the same stuff you people post about kb. Mobile qb, can't throw.couldn't compete at florida.. experience at jc don't mean anything.
KB can bust out or he can do just as good as scam did at auburn...or somewhere inbetween.
If you could predict the future you wouldn't be on tnet, you'd be sitting on an island somewhere counting your millions...

Should we expect, a personal foul - excess celebration penalty on KB every time he runs for a first down and poses?

Watch the KB's reps in the spring game and then go punch yourself in the face...
KB isn't even on the same planet as Newton. Folks, he cant throw the ball! Why isn't anyone questioning why Dabo has given the starting job!

You do realize he had a torn tendon in his throwing hand during the spring game. Let's tear a tendon in your throwing hand then let you go out there and try to throw with a makeshift offensive line and some big nasties coming at you

Only way I can answer that is by saying I guess I haven't seen what Dabo and coaches have seen. Thought his statement yesterday was very telling - KB has been the most consistent. I recall him saying that very same thing about Cole Stoudt. He didn't come straight out and say he's the best, just the most consistent. KB's going to be the starter barring injury etc. Until the first couple of games and you see him perform live then everything else is filtered. Personally, I think any of the other QB's would be just as "consistent" and even better than KB if they were given most of the reps with the ones.

I think he'll be fine. We also only got to see Stoudt one game with our current OCs. Morris tried to run the O with Stoudt just like he would with Deshaun in there and I think that was a big mistake.
The coaches will play to Kelly's strengths and try to create opportunities for him to be successful. I honestly think he'll be fine back there. If not, I think Cooper may be first off the bench and not Johnson

Hey look it is this stupid post again from a Clemson "fan" going out of his way to insult our QB.
Way to ignore the fact that he played the game with a hurt throwing hand.

KB = Home Town Hero - 51 miles
Aug 9, 2017, 9:26 AM

KB is a product of the upstate ... about an hour drive from Death Valley....
There has been a lot of love for him this weak on Tnet... I hope he's heard all the doubters and plays with a chip on his shoulder ...
Also did not know he was Martavis' cousin ....
