The offense is predictable and very bad. We can’t make routine plays routinely”gimme” plays. We make routine look impossible. What happened to smoke and mirrors?! Why aren’t we scheming playmakers open?! Why hasn’t Tristan Smith seen more playing time?! Why hasn’t Cade been shown the bench?! It’s DJU 2.0 and it drives me insane! Why aren’t the receivers creating separation?!

Defense is almost always out of position. Linebackers not filling gaps or getting trucked by a smaller RB. Linebackers missing wheel routes by RB or TE. Corners not gaining leverage against receivers. Safeties getting caught peeking in the backfield. Lineman overpursuing in the pass rush which loses contain of the Qb. DE not keeping contain getting pushed past the Qb.

We’ve seen flashes of greatness on both sides of the ball. The only consistently good players have been Heldt and Capehart. Westco and Randall have flashed but even they have made mistakes that cost us points. Elite TE play is MIA; where is Bentacuer?! Wasn’t he a top TE prospect with a WR skill set?! More questions than answers. These aren’t rhetorical. Please fire away with answers or questions of your own!

My list

We lack elite talent due to Dabo's portal stance
Our offense is not cutting edge
When a player (Cade) is playing poorly, it's not next man up
We have lost the fire to be a great program

All of this is not new as there is a reason there are very few examples of coaches who can maintain an elite program over time and hardly any who can get to the top of the mountain twice in their career at the same school
