Just a couple of fans who don't know what we're talking abou

Played golf today, a scramble for the college I worked at for 31 years.

One of the guys on my team is a Clemson grad. I met him in 1993. I was chair of a search committee to hire a new faculty member. He was finishing up his masters. We hired him. He's been working at the college since then. (Now a vice-president.)

He was wearing a nice orange Clemson golf shirt. We talked football quite a bit. He told me (paraphrased), "DJ looked better last week. When he dropped back and stood tall in the pocket he could throw dimes."

We are both cautiously optimistic that he will continue to look better and better as the season goes on.
