I'm a younger tiger (wasn't alive for the first National Championship), but I got hooked on Clemson listening to Jim Phillips call many football and basketball games in the late 90s/early 2000s. Brings back many great memories!

I put this tribute together. Honestly, my original intent was to just share it with my family because I knew they would enjoy it.
The more I thought about it and heard nostalgic stories from so many people after the National Championship, I realized that many more people may enjoy this.
Finished it a few days ago, and posted it on YouTube just to make sure everything looked okay.
I had not even taken the time to post it anywhere else or tell anyone about it, and woke up this morning to find that it had already been discovered. Wow! I am humbled by the nice responses. Thank you!
I remember crying every day for about two weeks after Jim Phillips suddenly passed during the season. Bill D'Andrea summed it up very well when he said "We lost our soundtrack."
If your footage was used, thank you as well. Glad to give you credit.

heard that play call from Jim in Heaven January 10, 2017. Jim called the game and all those there before us got to hear the complete game call.
FYI: Dad had his three TV's on the game, sound cut to "0", and his Philco radio tuned to Heaven's 93.7 to listen to Jim Phillips.
