Early games are designed by our cruel coach to be close. It humbles all the players and makes them focus and work harder. This is even worse when we get a lot of preseason hype as we're getting now.
Although all the ESPiN hype is happening to boost UGAy's SOS it still works against Clemson fans' hopes to blow out an early season opponent.
I'd say with our defense we can hold UGAy to ~15 points so if we can cross the goal line once and hit 3 FG we can be respected. Anything more and we'll move up to the top 4 in the polls.

Pre season hype is nothing like we've seen it in past seasons, but I guess that's what a 9-4 season helps with, as in lowering expectation!

First games are always weird. See Duke last year 😳. Unfortunately, I think UGA will have to have a night like we did against Duke for us to win. I’d be extremely happy if your prediction came true. I’d also be ok with it if the score was reversed. Either way, after UGA I think we run the table until we hit the playoffs.

A couple days ago I rewatched some of the 2018 CU/Coot game that was posted on the front page. Yes, we have slipped. Cade is not Trevor. Name me 1 of our wideouts that could match up with…Renfrow, Higgins, Rodgers, Or Ross? I love Mafah but he’s not Eteinne. And that’s just the offense. Can we beat UGA? Absolutely. But our teams tend to grow over time and we are not as talented as they are, at least on paper. And there is no one left on the schedule that is as talented as UGA.

I know I am dreaming but here goes startling prediction. Ga leads Clemson 21-0 at the half.
Cade continues to have mishaps but Clemson defense has risen to the occasion despite
alot of 3 and out from Clemson offense. 2nd half Clemson trys Vizzina but little success
first 3 drives, defense is playing lights Ga offense hasn't scored yet in 3rd period.
Garrett Riley sends in Trent Pearman and the offense scores 3 tds and ties the game.
Enter the 4th Qtr Clemson with QB Pearman scores another td score Clemson 28 Ga 21.
Ga offense catches Clemson defense off stride and ties the game with 3 minutes left.
Clemson utilizes the clock to perfection with QB Pearman at the helm and his throwing
and running prowess gets Clemson with in FG range. Hauser comes in time running out
and splits the uprights from 38 yards out Clemson wins 31 to Ga 28.

The players you didn't have available in your seconday weren't available because they transferred. Unless they've come back, they also won't be available for the Georgia game.
FSU had a roster full of players who chose not to play rather than take a beating. That doesn't make the players who played scrubs. It says something about the players who quit. If Norvell can't recruit kids who want to play, it isn't Kirby Smart's problem.
What I will say about the Clemson - UGA game is this: I think everyone knows what to expect with Georgia. Win or lose, close game or blowout, we're going to know a lot more about Clemson about 10pm, August 31.

That’s would be like me saying Thug u only beat Gt by 8 last season while Clemson beat them by 21 . However I have more common sense to make an ignorant statement .

This is stupid. Like anyone of us fans is going to be objective about this. We could not be objective even if we wanted to try.
I think this. If we win it will be close. If we could win by less than 1 point that is what I would predict. It is going to be the toughest game we play this year. Tough because Georgia is tough and tough because our guys won't be seasoned yet. Mentally tough because everyone but Clemson fans predict a loss. Tough because it is not at home. Tough because it is a noon game. Tough because we have new coaches and with them new schemes.
