Coots FB & Fans are considered the COCKY crowd vs Clemson

and they proved it with 5 straight win seasons over the Tigers, with their football players & announcers pounding it in as much as those fans ruefully giving the "5" hand deal in front of Dabo during selfies with him.

Saying, with Clemson FB having returned the favor with 7 straight wins and our fan base glowing in the "revenge"..

do you feel that a certain degree of boastfulness from our side could be the catalysis that gets them back in the saddle again?

It's apparent, with 3 coaching chances since the good 5-peat times, that Coots are really getting serious & expecting much better results..

and I believe they will sooner than later especially with QB and other portal additions.

So, my hopes are that our Cockiness (aka Boastfulness) doesn't bite us in the Tail like it probably did them Birds!

What say You?

Yep - never been a fan of too much trash talk..... it's what I never liked about UofSuC. We just need to keep our heads down, mouth shut, play ball, whup butt and take names...... :)

In fact I don't have a single Clemson alum friend that really "brags" about beating South Carolina in Football.

I think it matters to people who live-in-state, but nationally it doesn't move the needle. If we don't win it makes us look bad, when we do win it's expected. I mostly just enjoy the silence.

Beating 'Bama is something to brag about.

Eh I don’t know. I’m apart of the generation that hates them the least, as I was born to hate them. I don’t like that people don’t hate them anymore. I want to see them fail in every sport, and I remind them of that as often as I can. Didn’t even apply there this past summer. Can’t imagine a worse place to spend 4 years than Columbia

Agree with you.

I just don't ever brag because it seems so pointless. I smile and my smugness says it all.

I have family that are SCAR fans and they're awfully quiet as usual. That's how it works, we win and they shut up.

Just remember, we're better so stay classy.
