but is their any link to Clemson taking top talent from Florida and the Gators starting to wear all orange? I know its a school color, but I don't know, just seemed more than coincidence to me considering they've been blue with orange trim for decades. It's like Northwestern winning while recruiting here and we start wearing all purple.

...Florida in all orange Saturday. But I suspect it's simply McElwain wanting to put his imprint on the program by changing up unis like many other coaches at new schools. He realizes orange is the new blue.

The orange uniforms were actually a pretty common thing with UF until the spur guy got there.

FL was orange dominant starting with Pell

In the late '70's when he bailed on Clemson and through Galen Hall and Emmitt's days. They went with more blue when OBS got there like he had worn in his days there.
