It's not any of our coaches fault that we lost

No coach on earth could stop clowney. When you put that kind of pressure on the qb, your offense isn't gonna be out there very long. I hate to say it, but we just plain got beat flat out. We'll get there, we have some good defensive recruits coming on and hopefully we will get someone to fill Dalton Freeman's shoes on the o line...it all comes down to what happens in the trenches

We have no O line or D line that can compete with top 10 teams like we did in the 80's....THAT is what is missing on this football team PERIOD!

Morris does not know how to coach against Carolina His game plans are horrible. Morris should take the blame for this loss.

I was about to post that if we had Clowney, the outcome of this game would have been different.

Boyd failed to feel the pressure all night

Even when he wasn't under pressure, he would rush the throw and throw off his back foot. On the other side, Thompson would easily evade 2-3 guys coming at him at once. Our receivers didn't help Boyd tonight either.

We rolled Tahj out all of what? Once? You get a back or tight end to help out. Nobody should have 5 sacks against you. Where were the adjustments?

We can't compete, why should the recruits come here. Seems they knew more than we did and had insight to how weK we are in relation to SEC teams, even Ole Miss

Did we chip Clowney once tonight?

It looked like we relied o. 1-on-1 coverage the whole time.
Was Chad even at the game tonight?

Recruiting is the life of your program. We need to get better at the line of scrimmage. usc is better than us on the line. We need a difference maker on defense asap. We have no lock down corner or a big-time pass rusher. The priority to close this cycle should be 2 very good corners and another pass rusher. We have Lawson coming and he should help. Just my 2 cents.

Disagree. Not once did we change our protection to deal with Clowney in this game. We did not go max protect, despite Boyd having to extricate himself from pressure or take the sack over fifteen times in the game.

Oh please. Dump passes over the top of clowney. Let ellingtion continue to run. give boyd some check down options. DB's are the worst coached in the past 30 years. I just don't buy your statements about coaches not at fault.

I agree that our secondary is horrible. They tend to watch the quarterback instead of covering the receivers. The players do not seem to understand lane integrity. Third down and eighteen and a slow quarteback is able to run for the first down. This is not coaching!
