No one ever mentions the 20 lbs DJ has added in bad weight since high school. Listed at 238 senior year, now listed in some places as 260.

I'm not sure the weight would make a huge difference with DJ. His top speed is fine. His problem is his feet and acceleration are so slow. That is more quick twitch agility he is lacking. Even at 260 he looks like a 350lb tackle.

Not really. That first step quickness is not because of weight. Obvious you never played at a high level. You either have fast twitch or you dont. Its natural.

You sir or ma’am are completely off…he actually has great feet and moves…his top end speed is TURRIBLE…it’s actually amazing he gets as many yards as he does but it’s because of his feet and first move…
I’m saying that he needs to change his body and lose about 20 pounds but ore importantly change his body type

DJ is ranked second to last in the entire nation in qbr. He's awful. He has 1 game left for Clemson and will be hitting the transfer portal once Cade is on campus.

Just looking at Big Dave, it was obvious avoiding obesity would be a lifelong battle for DJ.
Watching him move around this season was painful. I'm not certain what his listed weight was in HS, but he's put on at least 30 lbs. The highlights of him running/scrambling in HS vs. now are disturbing.

Not only too big but he needs to reshape his body…he literally looked like the QB from S Car who was coaching at the beginning of the year…reshaping his body would do wonders for him navigating the pocket!
