are completely ignoring the obvious defensive holding leading up to the PI call.
Embarrassing as well.
I've had several non Clemson fans laugh at me because our coach is crying about a call against Duke.

It was defense holding. It could also have been a late hit to the qb. But it could also have been offensive pi at the end. Fact is, ref should have thrown flag for holding as soon as the ball was released. 10 yards and 1st down. Who knows from there.
I have since posted that imo as much money being spent, every p4 and g5 game need professional refs paid at the NFL level. Take any game and there's controversy in calls... but less so in the NFL. We're now just NFL semi pro.

There was no defensive holding ( none was called so point is mute)
There was offensive pass interference.

No case in point there was not any period. However if the ref thought it was defensive holding then why did He not call Defensive holding? He didn't so there is nothing to discuss! he did however make a horrible call of pass interference after the play and after a discussion. The discussion was probably how much money do we get if we call this pass interference?

Even so, a holding call would have been half the distance, not placed at the 3 yard line. Learn the rules "chicken boy".

Just like almost every play in college football could have 3 penalties thrown.
My point is, don’t leave it up to the refs. This game should have never came down to that. This game and the excuses being made for it, go to show you just how the once mighty have fallen.
It’s pathetic. Ready for this season to be over with so we can see if Dabo is really willing to change…

That’s been the “MO” of our secondary for years. They hold on to the WRs and never look for the ball, bail out the other team with DPI on third or fourth downs. It’s a pattern. But not to Dabo.
