With defenses having to adjust for a better receiving core will only make Mafah that much more dangerous with the ball in his hands, but I do hope to see us back to telling defenses to pick your poison!!!

Speculation means nothing. Spot the ball and show me on the field that we have a legitimate downfield passing game.

Hope that projection is far from true...

Stacking up playmakers behind Antonio Williams is wild...

It should look more like:

Outside WR: Antonio Williams / TJ Moore / Noble Johnson
Outside WR: Adam Randall / Bryant Wesco / Cole Turner
Slot WR: Tyler Brown & Troy Stellato / Tink Kelley

IMHO Hanafin is playing the wrong position. He was primarily recruited by other schools as a Safety because of his coverage skills and hard hitting. The exact same characteristics that got him on the field early playing special teams last season.

I've been telling my circle I'd love to see him play on defense. Tanner Muse is the first person that comes to mind.

He looked great on punt team last year.

I think your right about hannafin he seems to gifted of an athlete and we’re wasting him by trying to make him a wr when has the skills and size to be a nickel safety linebacker hybrid guy

Looking for big things out of the receiver group as a whole. If they stay healthy this could be a special class but whether a 5 star receiver or a 2 star receiver there must be progress and development. If we don't see this as a whole group then pretty sure where the problem is. I'm pulling for Grisham but i think he may be on the hot seat.

This game especially at the collegiate level is developmental. Meaning guys usually get better year over year. Most expect Peter Woods and TJ Parker to get better yet we don't talk about it we just suspect and have built in their progression into having an elite d-line. Same goes for any other position. It took Vic Beasley like 3 or 4 years and 2 or 3 position moves to breakout. Charone Peake didn't hit his stride until his senior year. Kevin Dodd it took 5 years. Look at Tyler Shatly [think that's how you spell it]. He was a defensive lineman at Clemson for multiple years before jumping to the offensive line his last year or 2 and now he's been in the NFL for like a decade as an o-linemen. Deshaun Watson wasn't Deshaun Watson his freshman year. He was good but he definitely wasn't year 3 Deshaun. Guys don't always get better but under Dabo his hit rate is pretty darn good. This why I think most fans that complain about Dabo or this team has been a fan for less than 8 years. Regardless of what the naysayers express this team is close. They have talent everywhere, now that talent just has to show they've gotten better with another year.

Watson kinda was Watson from his very first freshman start: https://youtu.be/DqQlVS3OGY8?si=RfSrQCVq3II-J4xa&t=27

Yeah, I was gonna say Watson was a bad example. But I mostly agree with him on the rest.

That’s my fear. That’s also why I don’t understand why Dabo didn’t get (buy) a WR from the portal to solidify the group.
