of Clemson. Every day it’s in articles from CBS, ESPN, Fox, 24/7 Sports, Google , our own state newspapers and more. It is the main topic of many sports radio programs and call in shows. They will ride Dabo until Clemson fans either show a united front of support for Dabo or run him out of Clemson.
The fans have jumped on the bandwagon. All of this negative publicity Dabo is receiving hurts our recruiting and has a negative impact on the team. IMO, I believe it’s important to support Dabo through the difficult times since so many jumped onto the winning bandwagon over 17 years.
One bad start to our season and so many are ready to write Dabo off. And it seems like everybody has a solution or most have something negative to say about Dabo.
I am saying Thank You Dabo for the Elite success you established at Clemson. I am “ All In “ and support you as you navigate through the chaos in college football. I honestly believe you will get Clemson back to the Top of the Mountain 🐅🐅🐅🙏🙏🙏
Go Tigers and Support for Dabo , his staff and the players. I hope the NIL, Revenue Sharing and the TP do not destroy what is left of college athletics.

He is a good man and done a lot for Clemson. He built Clemson when it was a laughing stock of college football. He deserves a chance to fix the problem.

Clemson was the laughing stock when Tommy west was run off. We were not when Bowden was dismissed. We were good, about like the last 5 years. TB showed us what could be possible but Phillips saw how much more we could be.
Don't try to rewrite history just to fit your agenda.

I wish I could TU this twice. Clemson was exciting thru most of the Bowden era. Felt like we were building up to something. Unfortunately Bowden could never win a tough ACC and he sort of planed out on his progress. And then he needed to go. Anyway, I hate when people try and trash the program’s entire history to support the current coach. Leave that to the Portnoy’s of the world. Clemson was always a good brand.

Exactly!! It's amazing that I just posted in another thread about: No one man is bigger than Clemson University- from Frank Howard
But put our trophy case of 22 ACC Championships, 3 National titles, top facilities, 85,000 fans in a stadium, top NIL Money in ACC , etc. and my post became, well Dabo has won a third of this and all.. What? That's not the point, but to act like Clemson will never reach those heights after Dabo, is a very bad assumption! Clemson is in position after Dabo leaves to have a choice in whatever coach they would like. Top coaching position in the ACC and one of the top 10 head coaching positions in college football.
Go Tigers!! 🐅 💪

I really liked Tommy Bowden but only 1 year equals Dabo’s last 5 years. We have won 10 or more games except for Dabo’s 9-4 season. I believe that a TB’ s best year.
And yes I agree Dabo needs to fix the problems and he deserves that opportunity. Sometimes Dabo can let his emotions take over. But he is human as we all are and has flaws.
He just needs to feel like fans care and he is still wanted as our Head Coach. It’s difficult to maintain your emotions and feelings when you are constantly under fire from the media, and many fans. I believe Dabo feels our pain as fans because of his 1-3 start. For 17 years under Dabo’s leadership, Clemson has racked up some big wins, 2 National Championships, 8 ACC Championships out of the last 10 years, Clemson is the first 15-0 team in CFP’s. Dabo’s 2018 team handed Urban Meyer (OSU) his only shutout as a HC.
Even with the chaos consuming college athletics Dabo has still managed to keep Clemson in the CFP’s conversations until the Syracuse loss.
Just like the fans this past Saturday I am sure Dabo felt the same if not more pain because of that lose and his first 1-3 start of his Head Coaching Career. While we feel disappointed, try to imagine how Dabo feels being paid to be successful. It’s a Heavy Burden to carry as the Head Coach 🐅🐅🐅🙏🙏🙏
If you are still all in let Dabo know. It could make a difference in the final games of the season as well as have a positive impact on recruiting.

Yep, not one said anything about Norvel l, and he hasn't won shhlt!
Like Walt said, anyone calling for Dabo to be fired has an agenda or just doesn't know anything about football.
All of these hot new coaches are so great but it's the same old group of coaches winning the Natty.

Dabo was the media's darling in 2015 when the team ascended to the national picture on the heels of a good but not great 10-3 season, so I'm positive he couldn't care less what they think. Besides, there's a lot of hard feelings towards Clemson that they hyped up this team when nobody forced them to do so..
As for the fans, when has there ever not been a sense of entitlement within the fanbase? That ain't unique to Clemson. Imagine how obnoxious it would be on this site if Clemson had the alumni base the size of Penn State or Ohio State. Dabo has earned the right to fix the ship, and the armchair analysts can squeal all they like about x, y or z needing to be changed but the fact is they have zero clue what goes on behind closed doors on this team.

What I can’t understand is why posters like yourself constantly come out like this is a one off. When was the last good start to a season we’ve had. I guess you could say 2024 but that was only after we got the brakes beat off of us by Georgia. Then we beat up on a few cupcake cupcakes. Then got exposed again by Louisville in South Carolina.
The signs have been pointing towards a fall since 2020.
1. Dabo refuses to use the transfer portal. He finally dabbled in a little this year. 2. Dabo does not actively use NIL. I know that there are a lot of donors ready to commit if the head coach is ready. Right now Dabo just has it set up the way NIL is intended while everyone else is using it to recruit. Essentially pay for play. The way I see it is if everyone else is going to use it to recruit against us then we need to use it to fight back. 3. I think Dabo is having a hard time relating to this generation. 4. We have gotten softer and softer every year. That has been a steady downhill trend.
We all know the Dabo could recruit and build a national championship program pre-NIL and transfer portal. We also know that he has refused to adapt to today’s game. This is not a one off. This is how things are going to be until we decide that we want to climb that mountain again. Yeah we could get a nine/ten win season occasionally. But I think we’re gonna be sitting right at 7/8wins on average from now on.

oh please, When did this really crank up? When Dabo opened his mouth unprovoked at that presser and said he would go somewhere else to coach. It really ramped up after that.

Watch Gramlich and Mac Lain interview Jimbo Fisher.

Actually, it isn't much of an interview as it is Jimbo talking and them hardley being to get a word in edgewise. (Side note: Try to count the number of times Jimbo says "ironic." The over/under is 120. Take the over.)
One thing Jimbo said rings true: The two dumbest people in the world are the president and the head coach. Everybody in the country can do their job better than they can. Just ask them."
