It’s hard to question Dabo after all of the success he’s had

but the handling of Cade has been an absolute #### show and slap in the face. I would bet he enters the portal after the season. The way the coaching staff has treated him and his playing time versus DJ is absolutely criminal. I’m not necessarily saying he should be QB1, but pulling him after taking the lead in Cuse game for DJ to kneel it down, not letting him throw at all when he does get reps, benching him after one series, etc. Terrible coaching and handling of a player.

I disagree But only with a big IF and that is IF Dabo doesn’t go to the transfer portal for some receivers…. With the exception of AW, they have completely whiffed at that position. WRU no more…. I would say they aren’t even a top 30 group.

“I want to clear the air. I was benched for wearing arm sleeves—something that my teammates and opponents wear frequently for protection. I apologize to my teammates and fans and looking forward to getting back on the field. Much Love,” Muhammad tweeted.
Jumbo pushing a great WR out the door. Would be a great get

Yeah, I'm really curious what the heck is going on for all of this to happen with Cade tbh. It doesn't make sense. If DJ is your guy, then fine, whatever at this point. But don't toss the two around like it's a game of horseshoes and hand grenades.

I do not understand you people. Cade is not ready. Maybe he or V will win the QB1 job next year. But not now.

How do you know? Because after watching DJ start for 2 years now, he still doesn't look ready either and Cade has hardly played any meaningful snaps

He hasn’t played meaningful snaps because we have struggled in almost every game. And believe it or not DJ is the more experienced QB to possibly be able to win the game. It’s as simple as that.

I clearly said he doesn’t necessarily deserve to start. I said the handling of him is trash. Two completely different things. If the coaching staff continues the way they are with him it won’t work out good for Clemson.

You have no idea if he is ready. Hell he hasn’t played in 10 meaningful series the whole year. The offense is sluggish and needs a spark plug. Not sure if Cade is the answer but #### I’m not going to sit here and post that he is not ready because I’m not sure how any of us have a clue on where Cade is in his readiness.

The coaching staff has an idea, and obviously they don't think he is.

My problem is that we are not winning by a big enough score to let Cade come in after the halftime break or at minimum the entire 4th quarter to get more series with the team. He needs that experience. DJ makes too many mistakes so our leads are narrow or were behind in the second half so Cade can't come in unless DJ is just playing horrible. If DJ is playing a grade C+ game you know, decent stats, no pick six, no fumble recoveries for TDs, but also not scoring much Dabo leaves him in the game.

I have to respectfully disagree.

He had plenty of meaningful snaps in the Syracuse game. Outside of simply not turning the ball over he didn’t show us much. I think he has a much a higher ceiling than DJ but it’s pretty obvious to me that he is not ready to take the reigns from DJ. I have no idea what you guys are seeing that suggests that he is being done wrong by the coaching staff.
The bottom line on our QB situation is this. Dabo is not protecting DJ and he is making the best decision he can based on what he sees in practice and in games. Dabo is not trying to lose or cause a QB to transfer by mistreating him. Right now our QB situation is not good but DJ and Cade are giving us their best. It’s all we can ask. My hope for next year is that Cade develops into the starting role or Chris V steps onto the field and lights it up from day 1 like Watson or Lawrence.
Lol. I got a TD for respectfully disagreeing. Some of you guys are so petty.
