How everyone is just brushing this game off as " oh well we will be back next year". This was it. This was the team. This was Clemson's moment. We were the better team

Rebuilding year expectations? To be honest after the state championship all the rest was more icing. It's all about expectations I suppose, we are at that level now. Dabo is young and has done the most amazing things so far, give him and his crew time to mature. We can be upset next year. For now we can all be thankful that they took us that far

What should we do? Cry about it? Fire Dabo? Kick DW4 off the team?

Mass suicide is our only option. Who is bringing the Orange cool aid?

I doubt any Clemson fan is merely brushing off the loss;

rather, most have come to terms with it and choose to be optimistic about our future.
Dwelling in morbidity over life's frustrations usually results in fits of depression, which a wise man studiously will avoid.
Peace, my Friend, peace.

When joy abounds ? There is only optimism now around this program , as Dabo and the staff have obviously turned a corner and placed Clemson among the CFB elite . Now to sustain .

Focus on the positive...

I prefer to focus on the incredible amount of talent on this football team. Think about it... we busted 6 plays that either directly accounted for or led to 38 of Bama's 45 points. Even so, we were less than a touchdown away from winning the game. Granted, a lot of the credit for that goes to Deshaun's refusal to give up and the "heart" of the rest of the team to follow his example. I think that final TD was HUGE in defining the desire and confidence that has been instilled into the team by Dabo Swinney. They BELIEVE that they can do all things... and I believe that they WILL!
Go Tigers!

We were the better team? Hold on there ....

Offensively? Yes, we were clearly better than Alabama's offense, primarily due to the QB position. No question about it.
Defensively? IMO, Bama was better. Better linebackers. They created a turnover, which our defense did not. They also gave up fewer "chunk" plays than us. So, gotta give the slight edge to Bama.
Special Team? Bama by a mile.
When all is said and done, the better team won. And the main difference was special teams. We will get even better next year, especially with the big game experience we now have via being in two playoff games. Won't be surprised to see us right back in the Natty next year.

We scored the same amount of offensive TDS , our total yds was over 500 ( 78 more than theirs ) and our QB threw 4 TDS . Their defense was not better than ours , but their gameplan and trickery were superb.

I remember when we wanted just to be a piece of the pie. We get there, see what is returning and the future looks bright. We WERE NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THERE AND WE WERE!!! That along makes me happy!! Hated to lose but.....anxious about next year.

the Tigers won the Atlantic Division, won the ACC conference Championship, won the Orange Bowl convincingly and won 14 straight games until losing the 4th quarter of game #15
I'd call that a dang good season.
