For the past couple months I swear I have a flat tire every week on something. Truck, tractor, mower, etc. So, yes, the inflation reduction seems to be working. But for the economy I think the better term is Inflation Production Act.

Inflation reduction act isn’t a big spending bill. It’s mainly a tax bill. Raises taxes on some, gives tax breaks to others.
Infrastructure bill is what you are thinking of.

CBO estimates the climate piece will cost about $400 billion, but the really don't know because the tax credits related to climate projects are uncapped.

countries we should stop complaining about inflation in the USA?? Sorry but that BS obfuscation answer that the Biden Admin trots out instead of addressing the inflationary conditions (many of which the Biden Admin/Democrats have exacerbated) in the USA ain't cutting it for those of us with a brain.
I recommend the Democrats continue with the "hey - if you think inflation is bad for you - just look at the high inflation those Europeans are dealing with" message and see where it gets them. I'm sure it will gain traction with those folks in the USA who have seen inflation rip the guts out of their savings and make it difficult to pay for the bare necessities.

Those with a brain should clearly see that wasn't the argument used, lol.
Republicans probably should talk more about what specific plans they have for combating inflation in order to argue they'd do better than Biden has so far (considering how global inflation is right now I bet the rest of the world would like to know, too). It'd be nice for them to make some sort of argument that deals with actual policy ideas and not cultural war garbage. But maybe they'll do that as soon as they make sure Hunter and his laptop are brought to justice.
Oh, sorry, all that might have to wait a bit longer because they have to shut down the government first which will really get our economy going again. That'll show those folks in the USA that the Republicans really care about them!

There's a lot for cropland and timberland owners. But that's a tiny part of it.
Most of it, moneywise, was about closing tax loopholes and going after tax cheats. There's a cap on drug costs for seniors too.

inflation has come down to 3% and almost as low as 2% sans shelter. facts. wacth the fed.
but inflation didn't come down cuz of the IRA. the IRA's impact on inflation won't come for another few years. if you dont understand that, then go vote for donald dump.
those of you that think POTUS controls inflation and / or gas prices are pretty darn gullible.
