How can they even possibly call themselves SEC teams? CLEMSON has more of an SEC schedule!

1) The schools do not make the SEC schedule as it pertains to cross conference games. Just like the ACC.
2) If either UGA or SC win the east, then they will play the top team from the West ... could be Alabama or LSU.
3) Can't you give UGA credit for scheduling Clemson, or do you consider that part of their cupcake schedule?

With a four team play-off I don't see any conference getting two teams in. If it ever expands to 8 teams I could see any of the major conferences "maybe" getting two in.
What has happened here is either through "SEC" fans talking smack or reporters personal speculation that the SEC could have two teams in the play-off. That has now been accepted as something that has already happened ... Personally, I don't see it happening.

If two west teams run the table with only one losing to the other, they'll both go provided the winner wins the sec championship...shouldn't be a problem with the east this year. It's the same scenario as the national championship a few years ago, and it will probably be LSU and 'bama again. The nice thing this time around is that there will be two other teams in the mix to keep it honest.

Some do see it ... I just don't ... What has happened is an SEC team has gone undefeated and didn't make the BCSC game which went to a one loss team.

championships are a criteria for inclusion in the playoff.
Not saying that it is not possible, but one of the teams in your scenario would not have won its division.
Unlikely so lower than 50%.

We did beat them in that time frame. Auburn 2 times. Beater Puck knew this , he is just towing the conference rope like the rest of the non-Bama fan bases.

Pretty sure you know which one I was speaking of... Alabama is really good, but I am sure when you take your Clemson glasses off you can see that there may be something to this thing about SEC having a pretty strong group of teams. In any case, the amount of threads on here referencing the SEC tells me all I need to know...

Clemson plays UGA and SC. Those two play each other and Auburn. Pretty level as far as SEC schedules go no? The diff may be that they do not play FSU, but then again they play Clemson, so again, kinda equal.

So no matter what - the SEC Championship game will br a Do-over, since both usc and UGA play Auburn during the regular season.
That could either get two or no SEC teams in the playoff.

We played LSU last season and beat them
We play Bama next season
We play Auburn on a yearly basis
The SEC is set us as a 6-1-1
6 East teams
1 West team
1 Cross division rival
It's on a rotating schedule that was messed up when the SEC expanded

Ole Miss-Vanderbilt,
