I’m going to guess “yes” because of no court appearance, but have not seen any actual statement. I have seen a reference to a couple of games in Dabo’s Dog Pound…FACT???

You don't learn a football position, having not played football for 5 years, in one offseason. You don't turn your body from basketball to football and have it ready for high level D1 competition that quickly. He was never going to jump ahead of seasoned, scholarship football players.
Love the dude, but it was always feel-good story. I'm ok with that.

The Chief has potential to play on special teams, especially on FG defense team. He’s tall, agile for a big guy, good jumper, and accustomed to seeing a ball in the air and making fast adjustments to grab the air borne ball.
IMO, his suspension makes it far less likely that he’ll be a one trick pony type of red zone threat. I hope I’m bad wrong, and that The Chief catches the game winning catches in the ACC Championship game and each of our CFP games.

Any chance he had of making an impact was lost at the bottom of that bottle he finished before he got in his car to drive and possibly seriously hurt someone while driving drunk.
