Has it occurred to anyone that XT's comments are what KJ wants to keep the pressure off of him. He went to tOSU with his team so they could get exposure. He's best of friends with the Tigers latest hoops commit. The team and, most assuredly, the '18 class commits are going to do what he asks of them. Give him a break.

Most recruits commit to take the pressure OFF of them and shut down their recruitment. Most will even say they're glad to put recruiting behind them to focus on their senior year.
I've never known a recruit to remain vague to keep the pressure off. Wouldn't that ramp up the phone calls by coaches thinking they have a legitimate shot?

KJ has said he wants to keep his recruitment open until his dad has a chance to fully be a part of it. He says with his dad's schedule, it's hard for pops to take visits with him. He wants a chance to take some visits with both mom AND dad before he decides. I truly believe he will be a Tiger at the end of the day. Just let CDS and CBV do what they do

Just talked to a VT booster and he thinks that KJ is leaning their way. The Hokies have gotten several commits from the Greensboro area recently and he thinks that our good recruiting (at DE) has hurt us.
Just passing what I was told.

It's actually not a violation, if the position the dad is hired for is an on-field coaching job. It should be.. but it isn't.

I want to believe he's a lock, a silent commit even. I certainly think it would be in KJ's best interest to come to Clemson. Supposedly it's down to us, Bama & VT.
I can't help but be a little concerned, however, by his tweet (I'm not quoting, but this is basically verbatim) that any school who hired his dad would be all but guaranteed to sign him. Hopefully, he's come around to more of a long-term perspective on these things since he posted that.

if he is as grounded as they say he is, this won't affect him coming to Clemson. IF USUCK is blatantly obvious enough to hire his dad in order to get him to usuck, then Henry and his dad HAVE to know that he will be out of a job when Henry would leave in 3 years.

There is no such thing as a lock in recruiting especially for a highly sought after five star who could go to any school in the country. Having said that, KJ seems to be a very solid Clemson lean
