But Burch is not coming to Clemson. He’s visiting UGA today too. Was his last chance to see Clemson before he signs and he’s going to UGA....

He has played the Tigers in my opinion. Just do not get a good feeling with Burch. I'm hoping we get the other 2.

I don't think he is a fit for Clemson. I saw him play and didn't like his motor...also there is the Mom.

He has been to Clemson repeatedly over the years. It's not like he has never seen Clemson! I have my doubts on him too, but just because he did not come this weekend doesn't mean Clemson is out. If he goes to USC he is crazy! I would hope if he passes on Clemson he would end up somewhere other than Columbia

For my own speculative reasons, I've always believed Burch would leave the state of SC and end up at UGA, the closest next-tier big-time program next to Clemson and also an SEC program. A geographical decision based upon not going Clemson (family rival) and not going SC (too sub-tier). Of course, should Burch and Tiger coaches think Clemson is a good fit, we all would love Burch in orange - best wishes to the young man whatever he decides.

I do not think he wants to waste his time playing in Columbia, but I also get the feeling he didn’t want to face the grief from the locals if he announced otherwise before he could get out of town.
He’ll get excoriated anyway, but at least it will be from a distance.
