No, but I think it’s reasonable to say that what he built is slipping away - and in the last 5 years we’ve come about halfway back down the mountain that he spent the previous 10 years building.
Seems like many on here don’t want to continue this slide towards 8-4 seasons, and others just say “don’t complain, he’s the one that took us up the mountain we’re rolling down now.” 🤷♂️
No one reasonable wants Dabo gone. They just want his intensity/fire back, and it doesn’t look like we’re going in the right direction.

Reasonable fans just want him to use the transfer portal more and stop our QB from backsliding into 2023. That's not unreasonable at all.

No. We are all tickled with the idea of mediocrity. Granted we could win the ACC any given year but our days of post season are far and few unless Dabo makes some sweeping changes to his staff and his attitude toward college football as it is today. But we are all good with that and what really makes us all ecstatic is paying him 11 million a year for this product. It's all good though. He has 2 sons on the payroll and one on scholarship. Times are tough for the Sweenys you know. But there is nothing to fear. He has a contract through 2031 and Clemson can't in their wildest dreams afford to buyout his contract. Retire you say? LMAO. That's not happening. No matter how many press conferences he has.

Depends on what you want out of the program.
If you want Clemson to compete for national titles, all the evidence shows that Dabo has to adapt and get serious about the transfer portal. If he won't do that, then it's reasonable to want to move on.

I don't think anyone wants to see Dabo leave but what we do want is for him to adapt and change so that we look like an elite team again someday. Changing head coaches is far too painful to just do it willy nilly.

He is the best coach we have ever had. And some on here say “he needs to make staff changes” I say have you not been paying attention the last two years!? No one is happy about our team’s play so far. They probably aren’t either.

Dabo has shown he won’t adapt. We’re otw to a 6-8 win season. Maybe we turn it around… but if we don’t he needs to be forced to adapt or we need to move on.
His way of doing things in this new era was supposed to pay off in a big way this season. If it doesn’t, it proves he’s got to get onboard.
FSU, Tennessee, Texas all waited to get rid of legends once it was obvious they were in decline. We’re still at a place that a new coach won’t have to rebuild. But our last class was ranked mid-20s, so we can’t do more cycles of that, or out-talenting ACC teams won’t be an option.

Every player is a free agent. Fire any coach at any school and you are looking at a rebuild. Bash Dabo for not adapting and you don’t even understand the new era.

But coaches have to understand that "rebuilding" through developing players can't be the only way anymore... develop great players, they leave. Try to recruit the best, you lose some.
There has to be a balance. Not utilize NIL and the portal is trying to build a talent-rich roster with one hand tied behind your back.
Much easier to "rebuild" these days through the portal for quick fixes and/or to address immediate needs - like this year at safety.

Not fired. I never want Dabo to be fired. But if he literally thinks he doesn’t have to change and adapt to today’s game then yes I want him to voluntarily leave.
No I’m not a crazy extremest fan. I’ve just seen enough of the trend with Dabo post 2020 to believe he’s not going to make those changes.
Y’all can come back to this point and time and keep receipts. Dabo will never get us back to a consistent top ten program.

I want him to stay. He is good for Clemson and Clemson is good for him. But he needs to make some significant changes in how he does things.
If he is going to be a gaslighting narcissist and threaten to take his marbles and go home when he feels criticized, calling out fans and administration in the process, then he can kindly leave and we shouldn’t stop him.

I can’t believe that any real Clemson fan wants Dabo gone. He does need to make some changes and I believe he will as he has already. Frustrating that some of those changes have taken so long. Dabo is a generational type coach. It was a bad stretch between Danny and Dabo. I’m too old to go thru that wilderness again.

I don't think so. Much of the response has been a result of the team's huge preseason buildup from various national sources and our own coach(es), which led to extremely high (and ultimately unfulfilled) expectations. I definitely don't want Dabo to leave, but it would help if he could put himself in the fans' shoes and understand the buildup/letdown scenario.
Go Tigers!!!
