You can pick your own seats and parking. May seem like more money, but the huge savings from no iptay donation offsets the price. Iptay is not your friend. They aggressively seek to get your money and not necessarily treat you well. I donated for twenty years and let them go.

iptay season ticket holders get to pick their first, second and third choice on parking
due to numerous lots , parking is being assigned accordingly to points per iptay, i have parked in lot 23 for about 4 years and now i got assigned to c-1. it was my third choice since different levels of giving have certain lots they can choose from, i saw where one family had the same lot for 35 years and they are being moved so i guess there isn't much we can complain about. im not thrilled bout c-1 but will make the best of it this year.

I had been in Cherry or Lot 12. They put me in C1 for the second straight year.
The kicker isn't that they put me in the crappiest of the bottom tier lot, but that my friend who has less points than me and gives at a lower tier got a better assignment. What exactly is the point of paying for a higher level than I need (for the parking) when they aren't going to make the assignments off your actual status.

From the email they sent with the parking assignment it sounds like a lot of lots were downsized so that just pushes everyone in those higher tiered lots out. Here is the text:
“New construction, building renovations, and adjustments to employee, commuter and residential student parking lots all have an impact on what your assignment is from one year to the next. The most significant changes are listed below:
*Seneca Creek Meadow: Reduced by 600 spaces for the Campus Facilities Maintenance Operations project
*Lot 23: Eliminated 200 spaces for the new College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences
*Lot 2A: Reduced by 60 spaces for the expansion of the west campus chilled water plant
*Lot C1: Available only to IPTAY members for the 2024 season; an increase from 700 to 1200 total spaces off Perimeter Rd
*Lot 8: Reduced by 50 spaces as part of the continued construction of the Advanced Materials Innovation Complex
*Lot 9: Reduced by 80 spaces to correct issues with overcrowding and better provide tree protection

So Riggs donation level is pushed to tier 5?
I don't think that is the root cause. Lol
I bet tier 1 parking will have people from various donation levels, like it does every year. They just keep selling the lie of how parking is allocated and people keep buying it.
I dont mind the parking, but the mass complaint is valid. They advertise one thing and do whatever they want .

We just got hosed also. Been in IPTAY since 1977. We paid $3500.00, our level of giving for 20+ years, this year plus season tickets. we got kicked out of McFadden #1 into lot 15. $3500.00 and can't even get a numbered spot??? This will be our last year.

I took over my Uncle's Iptay in 1994 that he had since '52 when he walked with an Ag Eng degree. I got tired of the BS and quit paying in 2014, obviously not because of the poor play in football. Got moved from Lot 8 to 21 in '09 and then to Hendrix in '13. Blow me I says.

Same thing happened to me a few years ago. Had been in 21, then moved to “Seneca Meadows”. After 2 years of that I put in more for IPTAY. Problem solved - back to 21. Money talks

Welcome to the 'hood. We were in 25 when our daughter was in Douthit and have been in Hendrix the last couple of years. I was an East Campus girl back in the day so Hendrix feels pretty much like home to me.

Everyone knows as the campus grows and grows, the number of parking spots shrink. The university goes above and beyond offering as many spots as possible and even welcomes fans to use restrooms. The only answers to your situation are to write a bigger check next year, enjoy the new lot or watch from the comfort of your den.

I can’t agree more. Been giving for 13 years. Our Donation has tripled over that time to keep our seats and then they screwed us. On top of donation we have 5 seats so lot of money for that kind of parking. I called and raised #### but of course it does no good other than let me vent. Could not explain to me out of ALL the lots in tier 7 could not find one spot. All I got was trickle down effect and more donors which I highly doubt the latter after the last couple of seasons. I love my seats and still have one child to go but this has me seriously reconsidering especially if we have another season like the last couple. Hey maybe a lot of will be in SNOW together and make best of it. (Trying to talk myself into just letting it go before I have a stroke).

Unless you are just using it to make money by selling extra tickets and all, it's better to just purchase tickets/pass on the market. No reason to continue donating more and mote just to have quality get worse and worse.

I am beyond pissed. I was working my way to lot 10 all these years, after STI, Lots 22 ad 23. I was pleased with the lot 20 space and asked for same spot. You’d think that you’d get to go back to STI or one of those but no, WHAM Snow lot!
I get the whole construction, pay more for this lot and that lot, but they didn’t do what their guidelines say. Pay this much for Tier 6 these are the spaces. But NO you get tier 7, sorry!

Oh, I’m furious! I was moved from Lot 1 reserved parking, where I have been for years, to Lot 25!!! This lot is below my giving level and points! I have called them and e-mailed them and basically they say there is nothing they can do and it is a numbers game. My family has been a member of IPTAY since the early 1940’s. This will be my last year! They have no respect for loyalty and could give a …. If you join IPTAY next year or not because there is always someone coming in behind you with more money!

football parking. So, WHEN ARE THEY GONNA BUILD A FRIGGING PARKING GARAGE? It ain't Rocket science. Vertical real estate doesn't take up any more footprint, but provides double the parking. At least. Multistory decks would solve ALL the parking issues.
