1982 Honda hatchback got my license and laid in that beauty had it for a few years. Drove my beauty to senior week in Myrtle Beach from Anderson which my Mom told me not to do. I blow the motor on Alpine Road in Columbia coming home she was pissed.

My 1st car was a 1978 Trans Am when I was 14 years old. Couldn’t drive it legally until the following year. I started learning to drive when I was 8 years old so by 14 I was really rolling.
I consider it my 1st “real” car but my grandpa did buy a crazy French car called a Simka (not sure about that spelling and I think it was French?) that he said was for me when I was around 12 maybe.
Pitiful looking car and it was a beige color 😳
I’m not saying much about boinking but it wasn’t in my Trans Am. Not much room in there for acrobatics 😆

Oh my --
One night was winning on the Pin Ball when a "drop dead" beauty joined in.
I arrived on a Harley, she in that.
That car was off the chart! Light and powerful. It would quickly accelerate beyond most anything in the day.
Fantastic car!

Tug yes that car would fly. You barely had to touch the gas pedal and you were off. I drove it all through high school and 5 years at Clemson. I got pulled over MANY times in that thing. It looks like the same model as the picture you posted. Mine didn’t have t-tops and was silver with red velour interior. The only car that I have owned that accelerates like the trans am is the one I’m currently driving which is an Audi A5. It accelerates so quickly and reminds me of taking off in that trans am all those years ago. That TA is not the kind of car you want your teenager to start off driving 😳😳

My parents gave me this so I would not get a girl knocked up. The problem is that I could take up to six people to the Latino bar in Camden, NJ, where we were served at 17, so I was always driving. I eventually removed the back seats. It was also the same car I deflowered my HS girlfriend. I wish I could travel through time.

it was running on 3 cylinders by the time I go it, 0-60 in about 15 seconds. I remember the time it Broke down in the ghetto, I mean the real ghetto in Camden, NJ, the alternator died, and I had to steer it manually across 2 lanes of traffic and have enough momentum to roll into a gas station on Admiral Wilson BLVD. We heard gunshots as we were waiting for my boss to tow me home, fun times.

Got license in my Dad’s Datsun pickup. The truck was probably about a ‘74 model year.
First time getting laid was not in a car but the first time that was in a car was in an old Opel Kadett that my girlfriend at the time drove. I did not have my license yet so she drove. Not much room in the back seat but we were both relatively small people.

Both in my 1972 VW Beatle. I loved that car… I bought it on my 15th birthday and kept it until after my Clemson graduation. I wish I still had the Red Baron.
