We know Israel has a great missle defense system. Going to be interesting if they start lobbing missles back and forth. Seems like Israel would win that battle.

Israel will probably ‘win’ the battle vs Iran with respect to the % of enemy missiles that get shot down.

Israel won’t stop them all. Thus, from the perspective of relative harm done to Israel vs Iran for those enemy missiles that make it past the missile defenses, the battle might be a draw.

Wild card is whether Iran has any Russian hypersonic missiles. From my admittedly minimal understanding, missile to missile type defense systems are not effective vs Russkie hypersonic. I don’t believe that the SOTA (State Of The Art) ‘directed energy’ missile defense systems have been tested for capability to defend against hypersonics.
