Imagine if the ACC agreed to be split among the SEC and B1G.

SEC - Clemson, Miami, FSU, Louisville, VT, GT
B1G - Duke, UNC, Wake, SYR, Pitt, UVA, NCSU, BC
ACC contract gone, problem solved.

That doesn’t really help the Big 10.

You basically just added the good football schools to the SEC. LOL.

Yep, winning a championship with that makeup will be scarce.

are both going the the B1G in this scenario. Doubtful the SEC would allow that.

The most likely SEC aligned schools are:
- VTech, NC State, Clemson and FSU (Louisville maybe).
The most likely B1G aligned schools are:
- UNC, UVA, GTech, Miami, (Duke, WF, BC, Syracuse and Pitt maybe). Louisville may be a fit if geography and basketball is the play.
I could see it split along those lines with some of the stragglers like Louisville, BC, Syracuse, Wake or Pitt being left behind. Dukes brand will be tough for the B1G to walk away from.

It doesn't seem as though anybody has a vision of what the finished product looks like. Nobody that matters I mean.
